About Eric's Hikes

Thank you for visiting Eric's Hikes. This blog contains summaries of the many exciting hikes that I have been blessed to have the opportunity to complete. I document these adventures not only for personal memories but to inspire others to complete great hikes as well. The wonders of creation are such an indescribable gift and opportunities for exploration and reflection are endless.

Please utilize the provided Google Map at the top of every page to find a hike near you and please let me know if you have any amazing hiking ideas or adventures.

I have done my best to document mileage backpacking.

I have also provided links below to a list of my extended hikes, short hikes, and trip planning as keeping the blog organized is challenging.

  1. I just now watched your video of the Coastal Trail in Lake Superior Provincial Park. What a relief to watch a video that does not rattle my brain with loud rock or some other incongruent music that detracts from the majestic solitude of this place. I loved the piano music you chose. (I play piano.) I will be enjoying your video when I need to calm to relax and remember what matters most in life. I am a Believer too. I am also old enough to be your grandmother!!!

God bless you Eric. How wonderful that you have your youth and your health. Every day is a gift. May God bless you with many more years of reveling in Creation. I see you have been to a lot of my favorite places such as Newfoundland. I will be following your blog now that I know about it.
